1. This is Airline Pilot Central, Not Air Force Pilot Central. (although he didn't post it here someone decided he is credible. But let's be realistic he is a politician so we can throw credibility out the window.)
2. Is he or has he ever been a 121 pilot?
3. Why didn't he send a similar letter to the FAA about crew rest requirements?
4. Why doesn't he try to change 121 mins? that appears to be the gist of his letter.
5. Credit should NEVER be given to a reservist serving public office. From what a previous post stated this is what I am inferring, that he is a reservist. They have absolutely no business whatsoever in public office. I have no doubt George C. Marshall is rolling in his grave over the fact a reservist is serving in public office.
This is just some politician trying to be re-elected.
