You wrote "Somebody has to stand up for us to help improve on this industry. Who is helping us? If you don't like what the congressman wrote, write him a letter explaining your point of view and what you think he can do to help the industry not just one airline. If you can't do that then stop criticizing the man on APC. I'm sure he doesn't read posts on here (I hope not at least).
I don't think pople are as mad about him for trying to help, more than they are mad at him for criticizing an industry and it's professionals by calling their pilots "inexperienced".

Fact of the matter is, American's would be VERY concerned if they found out how little we ALL sleep.

The problems will always lie with the majors. They are looking for the cheapest regional, and the cheapest regional will always be the ones who cut corners in crew rest, pay, moral and Mx. Sorry the MAXIMUM domestic duty day should only be 8 hours. It's just too tiring sitting in line at LGA, holding, shooting approaches to mins and then doing it 4 more times.
