Help on how to survive as SIC
Dear pilots.
I am asking for some advise on how to deal with captains that have really bad attitudes.
I have been a captain for some other companies 135's and treated my co-pilots with respect and professionalism.
I accepted a job as a SIC, to find how miserable someone could get just to get some jet time.
By the way, I've never filed so many Nasa reports in my life, to protect my ticket!
This company had many Captains and most of them were very nice, but I got stuck with 3 or 4 that were really something.
Showing off (hey, look what I can do!), not following the rules, deviating from clearances, and when they were questioned, a bad answer was always followed, together with some attitude.
Not to mention making the flights a lot harder, because everybody had their own way to fly, not the standard from Simuflite.
How about insecured captains afraid of IFR???
I guess, I'll be back flying those Metros on my own.
I was happy and I didn't know it.
