Have you noticed how your seniority is basically useless while on reserve? There are so many stipulations now that the company can basically do whatever they want with you. With the ability to match usable days with days available, the ability to switch long call to short call, the ability to bypass pilots over 60 hours(though that only applies when they want it to) and so on.
