I think that the letter that ALPA is sending RA will backfire. I wonder if any of the other wholly owned are on aboard with this, because the letter only mention Comair not Compass or Mesaba. I can see it now, RA “We need to cut some regional flying, oh what this, a letter from Comair. Ok lets cut their flying.”
As one of those "senior" guys, I would in fact like to see them institute the flex line system again. I was arguing months ago for our MEC to keep it, even if it only helped a handful of pilots.
Bottom line, anything we can do to mitigate more pilots being forced on the street we should do.
