Mine says nothing about it. It basically says call to schedule the ride and get more information. The FSDO is 4 hours away, there is no way in hell I am going to drive all the way up there and have to pay for another ride when I am in an environment that does not allow outside flying. I suppose this is where the lawyer will earn their money....
If he gets the FSDO to retract the 709 ride without having you dragged through the emergency pilot certificate revocation process (which is what the FAA usually does when someone refuses to do a 709 ride), he will
definitely have earned his money.
