Federal law protects speech for union organizing activities for sure. But, I thought individual union contracts are what protects union employees speech. In this case, the FOM is a contract, and if it does not say those types of wristbands or sayings are prohibited, then she has no real notice AND the company has to negotiate with the union to include that in prohibited practices. True or no?
