Yes you can call in sick. The FAA gives you ample fodder. Every hear of the FAA sponsored I'M SAFE checklist. It's called a temporary stress related disability. Work related so it's work comp. Any prospective employer is not allowed to know because of your protection by Hippa law. The company has no right to even know your diagnosis. That may only be released by your doctor to the companies work comp insurance company. The insurance company can't reveal your medical info to anyone without your authorization. If the company fires you at anytime you have a slam dunk lawsuit.
I really question someone's judgement when they can go to work in a safety related occupation where they are being used by management to destroy others careers and it isn't affecting their ability to do their job to the best of their ability. They are really a scab who hasn't had the opportunity to cross a picket line yet or like I said has poor judgement.
