An Air France 777F was parked next to us in Hong Kong, so the Capt and I walked over to say hello. The crew was very cool, and let us have a good look around. I thought the cockpit was very nice, with nice big windows, and a little elbow room, like a 767. Those of us on the whale aren't used to that nice of a view or roomy of a cockpit.
The area in back of the cockpit with the seating area and galley was spacious enough, and looked exactly like the pictures posted here. However the crew rest area (bunks) didn't look like anything posted here. I would call it a broom closet located behind the Capt, with one bunk on top of the other. In other words, not much room. It reminded me a little of the MD-11 bunk area where you would have to almost crawl up into your bunk.
Our bunk areas in the 747-400 freighter are much nicer. Individual bunk quarters with room to stand up and move around, along with a small closet to hang your uniform.
Overall, it was a beautiful aircraft, and still had that "new car" smell.
