I still make it to Orlando occasionally. It's been about 4 months, but I'll definitely be back. I'm heading home for 4 weeks, and I'm not sure if I'll make it down during this rotation, but the next for sure if not this one. That one will be in mid Sept, through Mid Oct.
I hear you on JFK. I remember getting up at 4a.m. walking to the bus stop in freezing rain, in the dark, pulling my bags, in uniform and heading in for a 6am ready. Those days are over. Now I get picked up for work and driven to the airport. Now, that does occur in Nigeria so there is a bit of a down side to it, but I'll take this over the JFK/Comair experience any day.
