You ever say to yourself...man I hope that guy doesnt ever fly my family around??? Well guess what folks, Colgan's high quality screening process got 2 of those guys and put them in the same cockpit. It was a perfect storm.
Better pay attracts more candidates. If Colgan paid more they would more people to comb through and maybe as a result they would better pilots.
