Ok, I agree with most of what you said, and especially agree with the value of CFI/single pilot IFR experience... but I think it would be highly presumptuous to say that a 135 guy would be 99.9999999% immune to an accident. Dumb and/or inexperienced people aren't the only ones who get into accidents. we had a street captain, 135 single pilot guy, and he was one of the WORST captains I had ever flown with, every FO who's flown with him has some outrageous story to tell afterwards. god, he was terrible. he finally ended up being forced to resign, and deservingly so.
