It's their mins for second officers (see my post above). Second officers are "relief pilots" and do nothing but occupy a seat to satisfy the regs on overwater crossings.
Do SOs at QANTAS move up to FO or are they stuck as SOs? If so, how do they continue to accumulate flight time?
