This thread is a report card to Labor Management that they have a B+ on pitting pilots against one another. They are still working on getting an A.
I am sure they appreciate all the efforts we pilots do to rip the guts outta each other. <ng> Regional pilots are not mentored nor taken aboard to develop by the 'major' pilot groups.
Union leadership needs to be real leaders for the industry, not just their own because management runs across party lines. Pilots get stuck along those lines. Industry troubles aside, they love the career lasting damage that results from difficult economic periods. The one silver lining for management that always pays dividends. Just like an accident, we all need to break the chain of pilot profession destruction. I hold the union leaders accountable to our entire profession. ALPA, Teamster, Independent unions are all responsible to work together more effectively and work out their differences and work in a coordinated fashion.
