Once again, thanks for the history lesson that we didn't ask for. Once again, thanks for letting us know mainline jobs are #1. I have said that about a dozen times on this thread. No I won't give RA credit. Not one BIT.
You have strayed from the topic just to teach us a history lesson. Thanks.
It's people like you and your mentality that impedes this industry to move forward because you are stuck in the past.
Now, please read my comment before this one. Let's get back on subject.
If your goal is unity, then why don't you push for all branded flying to be done by pilots on DAL's seniority list? That's what I'd like to see. Be it a Saab, CRJ, ERJ, 320, 777, 747 or anything in between.

Also, I'd like to see DAL's hiring mins and requirements(no SLI or staple). This would solve your prior post about bottom feeder contract carriers, because there would not be any!

What do you say? Would you fight for this kind of unity knowing you'd lose your job and have to re-interview? That way, DAL could "right size" the regional flying easier. Too bad we'd have to wait for some iron clad contracts to expire before this could become reality.

Would this make us unified enough?

BTW, since RA is not your CEO , it doesn't matter if you give him credit or not. Talk to any DAL pilot(especially junior) and we will give him(and DALPA) credit for not furloughing pilots(yet). So far, he is guiding this airline through rough times. I'll cautiously support him until he proves it's not justified(BTW, I'm FNWA and am familiar w/RA).
