Quick question for you Delta guys and girls. I would like to take my father on safari and I have heard that Kenya is one of the best spots to see "big cats". I thought Delta was supposed to start service there this summer but I cannot find any information on Delta's website. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
The only BIG cat you will see is the lion. IF you are lucky you may see a cheetah. Tigers are on the other continents. Also, check it out.. big cats don't have 'cat eyes'.
But you will see elephant, giraffe (two types), zebra (two types) and hippos. The amazing thing is there are no carcasses littering the land. The lions fell a zebra. Munch munch. Then comes the hyena, then the jackals, fox and on.. before long the buzzards show up and after that the only thing left is a very white skull and some vertebrae. And the ants and termites clean that up.
In recent years there has been a lot of violence with lots of guns coming up from other countries.
We had a great time but it was back a long time ago.
