Since when do we start hedging our bets on what FA's say? Pilots
think they have the story right 100% of the time and most of what pilots say can usually be attributed to a wish list.
I wouldn't bet my house on a rumor that a FA heard.
However, now that United supposedly has an RFP out for additional regional lift, maybe we will finally see some of that storied UAX flying that has been circulating around for years.
