I met a guy in who lives in Port Saint Lucie, FL who is a former Gulfstream and Piedmont pilot. We're both members of OBAP. We met for breakfast about two months ago and discussed the option of me buying an airplane and hiring him to be my CFI. We also discussed the business aspect of the proposal as well in terms of him being CP for my company. This would be done to greatly reduce my overall operating cost of the airplane.

It's a great idea, but not a viable one for me though.
