OK, Decision time... WHERE DO I GO?????

I filed for a review by the NTSB and it was granted. I may not need to have that review by the NTSB because in my medical file, an independent forensic psychiatrist, along with the HIMS forensic psychiatrist and psychologist, have and are recommending "unrestricted" medical certification.

Ok... Here it goes... I have decided on an Academy from ground up. No experience. I understand that this is a complete waste of money to some. But for me, I have the money and I don't mind spending it. I don't mind spending the money to be immersed in an accelerated program and learn in an academy style environment with others that are in the same boat as me... I need to be around others learning what I am learning... It motivates me. Just the way I am. So money issues aside... What would the best flight academy be to attend? I don't mind moving out of state. So far, from investigating, Flight Safety Academy seems to be the best. Does anyone out there have any reason against this or for it... Or better yet, information on another flight academy? Basically my question is this:
Where should I go spend $50,000+ on a private, commercial, instrument, night rating, multi engine????
Thanks so much to you all... I hope I wasn't too direct... Just would really appreciate responses that are catered to the actual question at heart.
Thanks,
Nathan

The second tip, there is no good academy out there, it's all up to the individual. No one can make you a good pilot, no matter how much money you have in your pockets. It's not LAW school or Medical school. The FAA license you get in the mail says the same thing whether you got your training at Cleo's tire shop/car care/flight school/department center in rural Alabama or at Flight Saftey academy or Emory Ridddle. If you know that you are not a good pilot and need someone to help you along then do go to an academy that does NOT have an accelerated program. Best of luck, the key thing to training is to SAVE money because you will be in severe poverty after you're a properly certified for that privileged first 15K per year aviation job. Don't fall pray to the glossy flight school brochures with smiling pilots, the reality is much worse.

I agree with the above post. You can buy a lot of airplane in todays market for 30K. Private, IFR, part of the commercial. Build time cheap. Find a local CFI to work with you. If you want a professional environment, then simply approach your training in a professional way.
Your multi you can do on the side for little extra money.

What happens is that if the FAA decides to just be plain ole stubborn and say that they are sticking to their guns in terms of not finding me medically eligibile to fly, then I can have an Administrative Judge of the NTSB review my case. The FAA and myself would both have our attorneys present at the hearing and both sides would present their case. Afterwards the AJ would make a ruling based on the evidence (examinations, assessments, diagnosis & opinions within my medical file) and the FAR's.
Also, I have the choice of having the hearing anywhere I choose. If it comes to that, I'll have it in Miami.

It's a great idea, but not a viable one for me though.
