I've been looking for cfi gigs in the dfw area. I have one lead so far but even my old flight school couldn't hire me back. So I'm not expecting anything either.
Man don't get me going on that. I went to the last 2 schools I worked for thinking that a guy with CRJ time, plus a bunch of other things would be a shoe-in...nah. They haven't hired a CFI in over year. Like I said, I don't expect a thing, but it was surprising to hear from them after all that time.
