Please forgive me for this, but you guys gotta stop worrying about the TSA.... They are useless! They have no powers of arrest, they have very limited power to detain. Any law enforcement decision will be made by the local authorities, who are brought to act by AIRPORT OPERATIONS.

The TSA moves in to an airport and tries to throw their weight around, but the fact of the matter is they are a federally mandated free tenant of the airport. They are uneducated, unskilled labor with less training than private security guards. On an average day, I pull SIDA badges on 2-3 TSA Screeners, usually for piggybacking to their smoking hovel. I look forward to my daily interaction with them as much as I look forward to my coffee, because I know it means that, when caught, they will be suspended and eventually fired (well, probably not fired, it is a welfare job).

Sorry, rant over..... Just remember, they may have the authority to attempt to stop you, but they can't do anything about but call people like me.
