I am just trying to figure out how this reads. My understanding of it is that you can count up to 100 hours toward the 1500 if it was done under part 142.

That is how I interpret this as well. I actually never looked into this in that much detail, but if the above is true, you could probably use up to 100 hrs. of Sim time you got at Comair towards your 1500 TT, as the Sims @ FlightSafety are certificated under Pt. 142. If you really need the time, your best bet is to get a copy of your training records and see if they kept track of the Simulator time. Also, don't be afraid to call your local FSDO to verify stuff like this, I had to jump through lots of hoops trying to get info on how to use an expiered written while on furlough and all the junk.
