I called the FSDO and OKC to get verification, which took about a week, but they all assured me that I was good to go. The key is to get a DPE that knows what he is doing. IACRA will not accept your expired written and will reject it. When I got my ATP we did a paper 8710 and included a copy of my furlough letter.
