Well you get your type and atp vs jack s@@t at comair if you get thrown on the street. I was going to go there a little over a year ago and I declined cause we were supposed to get all those shiny 900's. That lasted about a week. Been kicking myself ever since for not going.
Personally, I think everyone, CA & FO should be typed and have an ATP. It is called Airline Transport Pilot license afterall? And who knows, maybe with this new bill someting will change. I just don't get why everyone has such a stiffy for Compass? Is it the because of the flow through? The airplanes they fly? Because they are hiring? I don't get it. CZ might sound better than OH, but from what my friends tell me at CZ, it ain't all that great and it isn't the best regional out there by any means.
