Hi!

It is a type of training used by JAA (Europe). I think they also use it for some ICAO training. I think it is mostly used to train the European, Asian, and Afrian Ab-initio pilots.

Boeing is trying to get something like this set up in the FAA system. We WILL need something like this around 2012, 2013 when the airlines will need lots of new pilots, especially if COngress passes the ATP required for all Part 121 flying!!!

If you want to find out more, go on pprune.org. That website is mostly for non-US pilots, and is enormous. They have LOTS of people who will know all about Multi-crew certification.
