I can see this becoming a legal requirement in the coming years as part of the harmonization process with JAA and ICAO standards. Cliff you are right - a lot of things will change. On a side note, I hope to see a basic aerobatic course being mandatory for the commercial certificate.

MCC is simply a CRM course done in a sim. You can do it essentially in almost any sim and that's why you will see a lot of advertisement for it. It's a good way for companies to fill in empty slots and still make good $$$. I have heard some did in a King Air all the way to an L1011. The knowledge of systems is irrelevant. It's all about procedures and CRM.
