Very true. It basically comes out a wash, but Comair is required to pay the bills on all aircraft leases, and to vendors which comes out of our profit margin. It's basically Delta paying us an allowance!

We get a little extra scratch from MRO which is also a wash since most of it comes from Delta through Mesaba. Our line maintenance MRO at GSO, CVG, JFK, and BOS (from non w/o regionals) and Air Wisconsin engine repair work is our only true profit not traced back to Delta. With the CS contracts transfering over to REAS at the end of the month with CS, it takes away a little bit from our profit margin.
Any transfer of aircraft leased by Comair would require approval by the leasor. We actually had Bombardier refuse a transfer of one of our -200's to Pinnacle. It's still flying for us today! That's also the reason they didn't take away more -700's on that last RFP. Delta could only award those that were leased by Delta, which left the 15 leased by Comair.
