This was negotiated with Delta as a side letter prior to the last round of furloughs to allow extended passes to furloughees. Section 17.A.4 says that a pilot on furlough will be granted passes for the first 30 days of furlough.

The only time "5 years" is mentioned is in Section 22.F, where it says that a furloughed pilot will accrue seniority for a period of 5 years.
