As of midday today (Sept. 15), the Pace management personnel are indicating only "essential personnel" have been retained and everyone else has been furloughed. At least the employees can begin to collect unemployment and look for other employment opportunities.

According to the N.C. Dept. of Labor, a full scale investigation is being conducted of Mr. Bill Rogers Sr. (CEO) and Mr. Darrell Richardson (President) along with other "key officers". That investigation, with help from federal agencies, should conclude on or after September 25th.

An educated guess is that the company will voluntarily surrender the certificate either tomorrow or later this week for a period of up to 90 days. During that time, things will be sorted out and my guess if that the "Fire Sale" will begin. I believe a lot depends on the actions taken by the N.C. Dept. of Labor, in conjunction with federal authorities.

In reading the tea leaves, both the 757 and 767 in the Dallas operation are being taken care of but neither will be under Pace's certificate....at least for now. There are allegedly two different investor groups looking at the Pace certificate and no, the "Dallas Mavericks guy" is not in either group. I'm just reading the trades and the tea leaves.

G'Luck to all Pace employees.
