In my experience aeroflight and airpac avoid hiring pilots with over 200 hours of multi time. They want an indentured servant for at least 6 to 9 months. Pilots with more experience don't stay as long. Other part 135 outfits in the Seattle area have pilots on furlough.
As previously mentioned even during the good times Seattle is a difficult market.

The airline I work for is in the crapper so I have no problem signing any kind of a contract for 9 months to a year. A job is a job and if it is flying, that is all I care about.
