Thanks. Makes sense w/ the R-3 call out - on the other hand, being replaced just because I'm not phone available 3 hours before my trip (or miss the call) would get me pretty riled up. Is there some common sense used in implimenting this "policy", "w.o.m." or whatever it is?
The common sense is to be available to answer your phone when they call 3 hours prior to departure!
