I asked KD this question directly during the interview process in Feb 06.

The answer was 80% of those who are invited to interview get hired....and over half of the 20% who don't make it are "self eliminated" via sub-par performance during the basic sim check.

Thus, when you get called for the interview...turn off all the automation and practice basic instrument flying...get the gouge on the sim...and practice the profile over and over in a sim (if possible).

I believe the hardest part at FEDEX is getting the "meet-n-greet" and getting the interview.
