If you are talking about the MEC as JO's PHX-based golf buddies, then you are 100% correct. My ALPA rep has been drinking the kool-aid and telling me that PBS is the greatest thing since sliced white bread and that I should be grateful for being sent to the street with the help of PBS and Management's hosing the pilot group.

One of my downgraded CA buddies asked the MEC "leadership" if we are going to have a vote in/before December, and was told that it was going to cost $18,000 or something to set up the balloting, so probably no "formal" vote would take place which is utter B*. The MEC "leadership" sure seems to be more disposed to represent the folks who are between 1 and 200 on the global list... and I'm with you on making the contract better, and getting actually better QoL things up front, not incrementally as they seem to be doing and then acting like 3rd graders with a gold star on their homework.

It remains to be seen whether or not we keep that crappy system or not... I hope not.
