Agreed...Everyone (I do too) claim that ticket sales are ticket sales...but in reality what we offer in NY is horrific. I jumpseated home today on American and their Terminal is light years ahead of ours. We have a horrible terminal at JFK and at LGA (LGA might improve with the US Airways deal) I dont care what anyone says .....itis ugly, cramped and confusing. I cant believe Delta welcomes the world to NY the way we do. Again, ticket sales are ticket sales, but if after buying our tickets, passengers realize our terminal is horrible and they can fly the same route for the same price on American, i'm positive they will choose AA.
