Their starting pay for FO is $44/hr. That would be a major paycut for CAs at Comair. I can understand FOs being tempted to switch but why would CAs take the risk of starting all over again at an airline which may not survive with major paycut.
A lot of CA's have taken larger paycuts than that by going back to FO.
Also Comair's survival isn't exactly assured (I wouldn't even call it 50/50).
I'd much rather work at a company that has a say when and where they fly and not at a small jet provider.
Then again there are plenty of qualified A320 drivers on the street from pales such as United and Spirit.
