Joe..
I remember the days at ASA when the ramp was the worst it has ever been. What did ASA do? Made the Manager of said ramp the president of the company. Having experience both, and only been at Delta 1.5 years, I am still impressed when we pull up and the rampers are there. Huge difference than ASA. Not only are they there 95% of the time, but they look and act a whole lot better.
I also hate the fact that you make that announcement to the passenger. It serves no purpose and the passengers know you are blaming the airline that you are flying for. Which in turn lets them know you are bitter and unprofessional. I liked flying with you and agreed with alot of your rants, but not this one..
