Haha, I actually had a passenger on a RUT-BOS flight ask me what we do if the weather is IFR. I almost asked: "Have you ever been to the northeast, dude?" We'd shut down everyday if we couldn't go IFR...

I'd say this summer I was IFR 75%+ of the time due to the weather, and in the Mid-Atlantic we're IFR 100% of the time due to the DC SFRA. I think I can count the number of days I've been assigned an FO on one hand...
