Any chance to Drop ALPA and start a new Union?
Here at NWA there is talk of Dumping ALPA for an alternative Union of some sort. May it be Teamster or in house Union of NWA Pilots. What other choices do we have? I have only flown at ALPA sponsered airlines. I realize we need some type of union to protect our jobs to some degree, but ALPA has failed, and members are getting sick of ALPA National and the waste of union dues, over payed staff that make more money then line pilots and list goes on. Maybe we need to go back to the basics and start over again, and have a union that only works for a single pilot group. Its pretty bad when people are running around here and hoping for a merger just so we can get out of this new contract. I've been there, done that! NO Thanks!!How about getting a new Union and submit a new contract?
