Bubba stated we're looking at approx. 85 hulls by 2010, and another poster here estimated 850 pilots needed. Is our crew/aircraft ratio 5/1? Are we "right-sized" currently, or are we looking at another 300+ furloughs?
Slightly related note...I seem to remember rumor that several of Mesa's -900's being kept on Comair's cert. by Delta. Might be ancient info., but that one was floating around last year. Anyone? Anyone?
I'm not sure about what aircraft is on what cert. but Comair ownes all the 900's operated by Comair.
Delta ownes 10 ASA 900's and 8 700's
Delta also ownes 3 Skywest 700's and all the Mesaba 900's.
