I emailed JB with a question about this and he flat out told me that this wasn't true. We will go from about 90-95 departures a day to around 70 and CVG will pick up some flying. He forsees a crew base in JFK long term.
I also asked him about the rumor that Comair is going after a $10 million pay cut from the FO's. He said this is not true as well.

Well RA is JB's boss, so I'll go with RA on this one.
I've learned that yes JB has a pretty liberal open door policy, but I dont' take what he says as gospel. This is beyond the winter schedule. Bendo likes to keep it in the near term when he puts out any info. Things can change at will, so we'll just have to wait and see.
