If you have, keep in mind that the advice that those who have gone before you have given (and have taken their time to do so) to you and every other wannabe is reality.
If you are looking for someone to blow sunshine up your a** go to a different website focused on happy things where mediocrity equals success (ref your earlier posts: "I'm not that fit, but I'm kind of fit. I don't want to get shot at, but I want to defend my country. I don't want to be a pilot for a career, but I want to be a fighter pilot. etc..."
Really? I really hope the people in the military are more mature than this. Being insulted and having words shoved into my mouth is always nice. Please, continue to shower me in your immature cheap shots.
It's funny how kids with attitudes like this who know it all hide behind an anonymous internet name/avatar and talk to those who are very senior to them with sarcasm and disrespect.
For all I know, you could be anything from an 80 year old woman to an articulate 12-year old to a monkey who can type. Sorry, sir, I do not give my respect to invisible people.
Bring this attitude with you to the first guard unit you try to rush and you should be Ice Man in no time.
I really hope my "first guard unit" does not consist of a-holes.
That's kind of the catch to joining the service. Nothing is really free. Sure, I get to fly some of the most awesome gear this great country has to offer, but at the same time I'll be putting up with this crap day and night.
