Actually ALPA at Mesaba is one of the finest examples of union bargining at work. The fact that so many people are willing to call it quits says nothing of ALPA, but rather how managment has driven that company into the ground.

Just got off the phone with a good friend that is one of the strike center coordinators. Sounds to me like the union is doing it's very best to protect the contract.
