Delta has already come up with a cost and plan for cancelling Chautauqua and S5's contract. If the stockholders are indeed on RA's butt, then I'd look for some contract cancellations in March when Chautauqa and S5's contract can be cancelled. Delta might have to take on the leases on those aircraft if BB pushes for it per the contract. SkyWest is safe and ASA is pretty safe, until those performance milestones come due. If I remeber correctly have to make themselves cheaper than Compass and Mesaba to stay in the game.
Bubba, who has to make themselves cheaper to stay in the game? If what you say is true about RA, why not just tell the shareholders that? I say let the shareholders' revolt!! Down with R.A.!! Down with SOAP!! Down with high prices at the gas pump! Down with Walmarts' misleading advertising about having the lowest prices!!!
VIVA LA DELTA!!! VIVA LA COMAIR!!! VIVA LA FRANCE!!!!! (okay I got a little carried away there, but I alway heard that last line in comedies.)
