Not when you take into account the cost of health insurance. COBRA family insurance is over 1100/month after the 9 month stimulus package expires. Plus, COBRA and unemployment are limited in their length of time.
Having a flying job,even if it is one that you feel is not worth staying at, makes it more likely to be considered for a different job due to currency and other intangibles. Also, don't forget the benefit of being able to jumpseat. If someone called today asking you to come to an interview in Tulsa,OK, with jumpseat you can get there. If unemployed, its out of your pocket to travel there.
