Just my opinion Right Seat, and I am sure many feel different for their own reasons. I lean towards whatever gets the most people back to work the quickest. My guess would be any airplane/anywhere would accomplish that the quickest.
My next choice would be any Mke flying with a fence, since I live in Mke. (Obviously, for many others that's irrelevant). My last choice would be fenced flying for E-190 only, as that could have a VERY limiting effect, depending on the number of E-190s coming on property.
As an aside, in a later post you ask if willing to fly E-135 at published rates. I am a little confused here. I was under the impression that with a merged list we would be flying under the current RAH contract. Am I missing something? If Republic offers me a chance to fly an E-135 I would take it, as it is better than unemployment and keeps me flying. As far as I know the rate is already set, but maybe I have a misconception.
Regards

Having a flying job, even if it is one that you feel is not worth staying at, makes it more likely to be considered for a different job due to currency and other intangibles. Also, don't forget the benefit of being able to jumpseat. If someone called today asking you to come to an interview in Tulsa,OK, with jumpseat you can get there. If unemployed, its out of your pocket to travel there.

Good afternoon, I hope this note finds you and your families well.
If figuring out how unemployment will pay the bills is well then yes we are really well!
The incident is under review but early indications are our Captain drove his aircraft past the hold short line contrary to the acknowledged instructions received from ground control.
The passengers only paid for the best care in the air, its all about remaining competitive in today's difficult marketplace.
First Midwest was rated number 3 in Conde Nast’s most recent business passenger survey of “best domestic airlines”. Midwest came in behind Virgin America and jetBlue. Historically, this is a poll
Midwest would consistently win the number 1 spot; however, considering the massive amount of trauma that has been inflicted on the Midwest network and brand over the past two years, to still
rate in the top three is very impressive: congratulations!
All I can say is that I am wholly impressed!
So we may loose some of this gain in November, but we do have a plan to redevelop the hub and it is good <to>see our loyal Milwaukee and Kansas City customers continue to support our efforts.
That there just annoys the he!! out of me.
Our last B717 flight will be next Tuesday, November 2nd. This is going to be a solemn occasion for our long serving Midwest employees. I want to thank our B717 pilots and flight attendants and all those behind the scenes in SOC and Tech Ops that have so professionally served the Midwest operation during the B717 wind down. You have continued to run an exemplary airline operation and provide our passengers with outstanding service and we are grateful for your leadership and dedication to the Midwest brand.
If you would like to have your 10,15,20,25 year commemorative gift it can be purchased at a discounted rate if you act quickly! Sounds like a place that values its employees. I really want to be a part of that. This paragraph is wrong on so many levels.
I sincerely hope the union leadership (on all sides of the fence)
can resolve the outstanding seniority integration challenges between the various flight crew unions and get the flight crew employees of Midwest back into training and on the job quickly
"Because I want to spend a lot of cash on training and longevity for those people." Whats the saying about what happens when an airline CEO opens his mouth.
As we redefine procedures and streamline policies between
Frontier and Midwest, I’m sure something’s may seem a little messy; but we are working day and night to identify best practices between the two carriers and then select the best policy or procedure with the intension of rolling it out consistently for both airlines. Please hang-in there with us as we develop new (and hopefully improved) approaches to airport customer service, inflight products and service recovery policies.
Again, with the spelling and syntax errors how can anyone feel confident that the smart people are the ones running this company?
This mashup of cultures and the sharks circling in the bloody waters of MKE will take more than just "hopefully improved approaches" to pull this cobbled together mass out of its nosedive. I've already booked my spring travel on Southwest. It was cheaper, I know exactly what I paid for and what I will receive, plus no bag fees. Best of all I won't have to enter the D concourse or board a blue jet that has Midwest painted on it.
"I pray for Gool’s continued blessings on our families and our airline."

Not when you take into account the cost of health insurance. COBRA family insurance is over 1100/month after the 9 month stimulus package expires. Plus, COBRA and unemployment are limited in their length of time.

YXnot,
Thank you for posting your own commentary with Bedford's letter. I really mean that. It was much less infuriating to be able to catch my breath while reading your counterpoints. I'm not looking forward to a career at Republic, but I would like to work there just for the chance to meet Bedford some day, so that I can ask him; "what would Jesus have done?" Then I can quit in peace, and on my terms.
Peace
