As long as I can remember, ALK has been the object of a buy-out or merger with many airlines: AA, CAL, etc. Of course, as of March 12, 11% of our flying will be to the islands.

I just thought I'd share the latest rumor, since there's really nothing else going on at ALK, other than the possible 200 FA furloughs in January.
