The commuter clause has nothing to do with the company paid moving expenses. I know first hand. I lived in CVG and was displaced to JFK. Since I could not afford to live in NYC I moved to ATL. Since the distance from CVG to JFK is more than CVG to ATL, the company paid for the entire move. That is when you then fill out a new commuter form from you're home city and it is done. The commuter clause remains intact and untouched.
