Should be fine for the regionals, but twotters are light airplanes...I'm pretty sure they don't even exceed 12,500lbs. Majors would probably prefer 30K-50K lbs experience (FDX/UPS would like 300K-500K).

That's stick-and-rudder intensive flying, but will not give you the crew/IFR experience. If you do fly IFR, it will be different from 121 IFR.

I wouldn't bet on making the jump from twotters to a major, maybe not impossible but probably not likely. I think Alaska might hire some bush pilots, but not sure.
