I hate to say it, but the STL lines are kinda junk. I'm not sure what the FO lines look like, but CA lines are all 4 on/3 off with 8 hour duty days and 35-39 hours of credit per week (min guarantee is 35 hours). It's hardly above min guarantee, so I don't see why you'd bid one of these lines when there are open 4/3 schedules that credit 47+ hours. On the flip side, if you really don't want to work, there are available 4/5 lines (yes, 4 on/5 off) at the ALB outstations that pay min guarantee. Since people are only working slightly above min guarantee with these STL lines anyway, I'd much rather take the extra days off.

Now, if you're from the area it could be a great move. Not everyone wants the Rutland or Saranac Lake high time lines.
