For the record I have absolutely nothing bad to say about you JetBlue guys. Great pilot group with solid pay rates from what I've seen.

The thing that drives me up the wall is that there is a pilot group who is
right now flying the E190 for a really lowball rate. I really honestly hope beyond hope that they're able to get a new contract ratified with competitive pay rates. If they do, great, I'll probably even apply. But until then...
The thing that drives me up the wall is that I don't want to fly 402s for a career. I'd love to get back into a jet, but I simply can't justify taking the pay and QOL cut to do it. It's just so unbelievably wrong that I'd take a pay cut to go from a 9-passenger piston twin to an 89,000+ lb jet; it makes me outright angry, in fact. My career isn't progressing how I'd like it because there are 10 guys lined up ready to say "sir, yes sir!" when even 1 of us decline to work for those wages.
And yes, I was at XJT previously. I'd go back, only because I'd go back at second year pay, which is plenty livable. I did my time on first year poverty wages and learned my lesson. No more. This job just isn't worth that.
